Solving big problems has been on my mind lately. We see countless challenges around us every day, yet often, no one steps up to address them. Here’s an example: a few weeks ago, I witnessed a blatant instance of retail theft. I was in Kohl’s, returning some items, when I saw two people casually walk out with armloads of backpacks, without anyone stopping them. Security was absent, and employees just watched. It’s frustrating to see problems like these go unaddressed, but it also raises a question: Why not me? Why not you?
We all have skills and passions that could make a difference in tackling real-world issues. Here’s a framework to start:
Identify Your Passion ❤️ – Find that one problem that keeps you up at night and let it fuel your drive.
Leverage Your Skills 🛠️ – Use what you know and seek out the expertise you need to tackle the problem.
Build a Network 🌐 – Connect with like-minded people who can help amplify your impact.
Start Small, Think Big 🌱 – Take small, manageable steps and grow your efforts over time.
The world is full of big problems waiting for a solution. So, what’s the issue you’re passionate about? Why not step up and be the one to solve it? Challenge yourself to think big and act boldly.
