Happy Thanksgiving week! π¦
As we prepare for the season, I am reflecting on gratitude and the importance of expressing it. I am also reflecting on how unexpressed gratitude feels like ingratitude.
In a world that could use a bit more kindness, our expressions of thanks can make a huge difference in our relationships. Letβs dig into that…
Here’s the scoop: unexpressed gratitude feels like ingratitude.
And in a world π that could use a bit more kindness ποΈ, our expressions of thanks can make a huge difference in your relationships. π
Letβs dig into thatβ¦
Matching Magnitude with Gratitude π€
Ever had a moment when someone’s kindness overwhelmed you, and you felt that surge of gratitude? π€ It’s a beautiful feeling. π₯° But sometimes, life gets busy, and we forget to express our gratitude as fully as we felt grateful.
This Thanksgiving, let’s make a pact. π€
When you feel that welling up of thanks, let it overflow into your words and actions. π€ Whether it’s a simple “thank you” or a thoughtful gesture, let your gratitude match the magnitude of whatever it is youβre thankful for. In other words, be sincere and vulnerable in your expression of thanks.
A Word of Caution β οΈ
Now, about that attitude.
Thanksgiving is a perfect time to reflect on the things we’re thankful for. Maybe youβve heard the saying, “Don’t let your attitude ruin your gratitude,” and it couldn’t be more true. A bad attitude has this sneaky way of overshadowing the good things in life. So, let’s choose gratitude over grumbling, especially this week! π
Even on the tough days, there’s always something to be thankful for. π It might be a lesson learned, a small victory, or the support of those around you.
Acknowledge it. Embrace it. Express it. π
Your Thanksgiving Challenge π¦πͺ
Here’s your challenge for the week β take a moment to reflect on the things you’re grateful for and then, ask yourself if your expression of gratitude matches the magnitude of those blessings. π€
If not, turn π the dial and let those around you know just how much you appreciate them. π
Wishing you a Thanksgiving week full of faith, hope and love! β¨
